Nestled amongst the pine trees, on the shores of the Lac des Loutres, L’Aurore Boréale is a luxury 3-bedroomed cottage offering you all the modern comforts you could ask for, whilst maintaining the rustic charm of a log cabin hide-away.
L’Aurore Boréale can easily accommodate 7 people in its 3 bedrooms with a double sofa-bed for an additional two guests - a maximum of 9!
As you enter the cottage, you will find an entrance hallway with a washer and dryer tucked away in a cupboard, a central vacuum system and an additional large coat closet giving you extra storage space for your convenience.
There are two lovely bedrooms on the ground floor - the first has a double bed with single bed over it, and the second has a double bed. Both are extremely comfortably furnished and share a well-appointed bathroom with ceramic tile shower.
The bright open fully-equipped kitchen area offers all the amenities you could wish for, with stainless steel appliances including 5 ring ceramic cook-top, oven, microwave and dishwasher. The island area is perfect for preparing your family meals, or just for sitting around to chat whilst cooking!
The dining area has a large hand-crafted table for 8 people adjoining which is the cottage’s ground floor sitting room, where you can sit around the wood-burning stove listening to music on the stereo with cd player and mp3/i-pod connection.
Upstairs there is a large master bedroom with queen bed and seating area where you can relax reading a book, or simply enjoy the view of the lake through the trees. There is a luxury en-suite bathroom with double occupancy corner bath, and beautiful ceramic tile shower. You will also find the second sitting room upstairs with a double sofa- bed for additional guests. From here you can relax and enjoy the lake-view or watch the flat-screen television, together with a home-theater system. A beautiful oak pool table is also on this level for your entertainment.
French doors from the ground floor lead out to the large deck area with patio table and furniture for 8 people, a gas bbq and a small seating area. Steps from the verandah give you access to a 4-season spa for 4-6 people which overlooks a private side garden, surrounded by trees - ensuring complete privacy whilst you relax in the hot tub. From the deck you can meander through the trees to the lake with private beach area from which you can fish or set off boating around the lake.

Our log home village is near golf Grand Portneuf and the Golf des Pins as well as being close to Valcartier vacation village. You will enjoy yourself in the waterparks in the summer and snow sliding on tubes in the winter. There is also a ice village for ice fishing poissons des chenaux in Ste-Anne de la Pérade. Just 50 minutes from Quebec City, the Quebec Carnival and numerous other festivals will keep you entertained. Fishing for walleye on the majestic St-Lawrence River is also offered just 15 minutes from the cottage. All kinds of activities await you throughout the year! Nature at it’s best, just a few minutes from one of the most beautiful cities, Quebec.
