RENTAL POLICY AND PROMOTIONS
Arrival : 3 pm Departure : 11 am
New Cottages 3 rooms or more, some with pool tables offered at the same rate as the 2 room cottages (mid-week 5 nights minimum when the weekend is rented and there are no 2 room cottages available).
Not applicable on legal holidays, weekends, spring break week or during high season.
High Season: Rental of cottages 10 % rebate on stays of 2 nights weekdays from January 18 to March 16 only. This promotion is not valid during spring break week or during legal holidays.
Low Season: 3 nights for the price of 2 nights (mid-week only) or 10 % rebate on stays of 2 nights or longer weekdays.
Note:All long weekends, spring break week are high season rate. As well, for the Christmas holidays period all rentals are for the full price for the maxium number of people the cottage will acomodate.
Important: Summer rental for the small chalets must be for a minimum of 5 nights.
For your comfort all our cottages are a smoke free environement
- If you smoke inside one of our cottages, you will be charged an extra fee for airing and cleaning the cottage.
Rental of 2 nights minimum.
Take note that we will rent for one night under certain conditions during high season and low season.
For reservations more than one year in advance, we will accept the reservation with a down payment of 30%, but the rate will be adjusted according to the rate at the time of your stay.
Animals:
- IMPORTANT : Please advise us that you will be traveling with an animal when you make your reservation.
- Small dogs are accepted in the majority of our cottages. There is a surcharge of 20 $ +taxes per night.
- Dogs are permitted on a leash when walking or tied outside.
- Must be housebroken and you must pick up the excrement outside.
- You are responsible for any damages caused by your animal; and they must be supervised at all times. It is stickly forbidden to leave the animal unsupervised in the cottage due to barking and potential damages.
- Maximum of one animal per small cottage and 2 animals per large cottage.
Cribs or beds for children under 2 years are not provided.
PAYMENT
At the time of your reservation 30 % of the total will be charged to your credit card and the le balance will be charged automatically on your credit card 30 days before your arrival . The cottage must be left clean, garbage should be picked up and placed in the containers provided. Take note that we have a check list of inventory for each cottage and that no breakage or theft will be tolerated.
Please note that our cottages are all non-smoking.

IMPORTANT Please note that you may arrive a little before, around 1 or 2 pm to take advantage of the site for swimming or walking, but your cottage will not be available before 3 pm. Please advise the reception if you plan to arrive before 3 pm.
Cancellation policy :
Whenever cancellation by the renter occurs more than sixty (60) days before the arrival date, the downpayment paid by the renter will be reimbursed, minus seventy-five (75$) dollars plus taxes for administrative fees.
Whenever cancellation by the renter occurs between sixty (60) and thirty-one (31) days before the arrival date, the downpayment paid by the renter will be retained. However if the cottage is re-rented for the same period, the downpayment will be reimbursed minus seventy-five (75$) dollars plus taxes for administrative fees.
Whenever cancellation by the renter occurs less than thirty (30) days before the arrival date, the downpayment paid by the renter will be retained and the final payment will be reimbursed in the following manner:
- Less twenty percent (20%), if the cancellation takes place between thrity (30) and sixteen (16) days before the arrival date.
- Less fifty percent (50 %), if the cancellation takes place between fifteen(15) and eight (8) days before the arrival date.
- Retained in full (100 %), if the cancellation takes place seven (7) days or less before the arrival date.
However if the cottage is re-rented for the same period, the downpayment will be reimbursed minus seventy-five (75$) dollars plus taxes for administrative fees.
No large loud partys in the cottages, under the possibility of expulsion wihout reumbursement of the rental amount.
Neither Au chalet en bois rond nor the property owners can be held responsible for any machanical failure, electronic or other which may occur during your stay such as spa whirlpool or therapeutic bath, satellite, CD player etc, if these cannot be repaired during yoru stay. However, we can assure you that our maintenance staff will do everything possible to remedy the situation as soon as possible.
- If these breakages or damages are the fault of the renter, the anount of either the repair or replacment will be charged to your credit card.

Available services Included in the rental of you cottage :
- Firewood (1 pack) furnished free of charge others are available for (5,50$+taxes per pack).
- Utensils, dishes, cookware. For 8 people for the smaller cottages and 12 for the larger cottages.
- Linens and towels for the number of persons specified at the time of the rservation.
- Toilet paper, kleenex, and soap for one day (giving you to go to the store).
- Green and white garbage bags.
- Birdseed.
- Gas propane barbecue (propane is furnished)
- Diswashing liquid
- Salt, pepper and coffee filters
- Iron
- Hairdryer
- Housecleaning once a week (for stays of 10 days or longer) with changing of linens and towels
Not included in your rental:
- Extra firewood.
- Fishing right
- Charcoal
- Toilet paper, soap
- Beach towels

- Daily housekeeping
- Boats, canoe, kayak, pedal boat(depending on the cottage rented)
You can rent the following at the reception (taxes applicable):
- Life vests and oars: refundable deposit of 10$ each
- Canoe, kayak, rowboats, pedal boat: 10$ for 2 hours, 15 $ pour 4 hours, 25 $ for a full day, or 95 $ for a week .
- Golf cart (4 place) 2 hours 45 $ - 1 day 95 $ - 300$ for 5 days + refundable deposit of 200$.
- Snowshoes 10$ a day or 50 $ for 7 days.
- Fishing rod, 10 $ per day or 35 for 7 days $.
- Horseshoes, croquet, pétancle, , volleyballs, books, films, games etc. 5$ to 20$ refundable deposit depending on the item.
- Snow Sled 5 $ a day
- Housekeeping 15 $ an hour
- Snowmobile available with advance reservation
- All snowmobiles come from local dealers and are the same recent models, they are offered to you for the same rate as at Au chalet en bois rond.
Availabe for purchase at our boutique and convenience store:
- Beer and wine
- Firewood (5.50$ per pack)
- Fishing rights 25 $ / 1 adult / for 5 for 5 large trout in our lakes__
Note that fishing on the Ste-Anne river is free . You need a regular fishing permit which costs about 17 $, but must be purchased before arriving we do not have fishing permits for sale.
